Nankhatai is an Indian cookie with the tantalising aroma of Desi ghee(browned butter) and cardamom and a distinct taste of chickpea flour(besan).  The garnish of pistachios and almond slivers enhance the taste of the cookie. I can try to explain the delectable taste of Nankhatai but no amount of words can do it justice.  It would be better if you taste the cookie and find out for yourself!!
